Dec 23 Ball Update

Our December ball took place on the 8th of December when 104 dancers enjoyed a lively programme brought to life by some excellent upbeat music from Ewan Galloway and his band. We even enjoyed a world premier when Ewan and the band played his new tune for Alison’s dance Loch Fitty Jig.

We’re declaring the night a huge success and hope that you all agree! Though the committee’s hard work and tasty food (slickly delivered by the Glen Pavilion team) undoubtedly played a part in that success, the main measure of success is found on the dance floor. Without our dancing friends from far and wide and their synergy with the band and each other, we wouldn’t have a ball, never mind a successful one. So, thank-you all for coming.

We look forward to welcoming you back next year, when Jim Lindsay and his band will be playing for us on Friday 13th December 2024.
