Picnic Thank-You!

Bill and Alison would like to say a huge “Thank you!” to everyone who turned out for the picnic dance and made it such a happy evening. With fantastic up-beat music from Sandy Nixon and his band and an improvement in the weather in time for the picnic, we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did.

With 88 dancers on the night bringing generous donations for Dunfermline Foodbank we were able to hand over £192.25 in cash and a car load full of food. We know that this will be put to good use – last year the foodbank supported over 7000 clients (nearly 3000 children) with each client receiving around 10 balanced meals. Sadly, the demand for support continues to grow and, encouraged by your support this year, we are currently planning to repeat the format next year.
